SIMULATION / EXECUTION

A signal takes time.
Execution has a cost.

Study the difference between a rule being satisfied and a simulated order being filled. Paper settings separate buy and sell latency, slippage limits, fees, modeled price impact and fixed SOL costs.

01

Separate buy and sell assumptions

Configure latency and slippage limits independently for buying and selling. The illustrated latency switch is off and both displayed delays are zero.

02

Make costs explicit

Percentage fees, modeled price impact and fixed SOL costs are separate settings. Slippage limits are distinct from these modeled deductions.

03

Compare under stated conditions

A baseline and delayed paper evaluation answer different questions. Record the assumptions used and inspect fills, rejected attempts and costs before interpreting results.

The values shown reproduce the supplied settings, not recommended parameters. Paper trading is a simulation and does not establish live profitability or guaranteed execution.
